Does this price seem good? F-250 Lariat Ultimate

2017 F-250 Lariat Ultimate Package, 6.7L Diesel, Chrome Package, FX4, Spray in bedliner, Gooseneck, 6 in running boards, 20" tires, Towing package, BLIS, LED Headlamps. Pretty much loaded, everything except the power running boards.

MSRP came to $72,500 when I did Build and Price. Dealership said they will come off a flat $9,000 coming to $63,500. Does this seem reasonable?

Platinum was MSRP $76,000 (same deal $9k off, but I'm not interested in the few things it adds).

Also, when they thought I was trading my truck in they said they could only come off the price $2k or so. When I mentioned keeping my truck and selling outright they suddenly talked to the manager and can come off $9k. What would be the benefit to them there??

I have not really priced around or talked to many other dealerships, and I'm really hoping not to have to do so if I find out this price is very good and its not worth haggling more

Sounds like a good price. When they thought you were trading your old truck, they were probably going to add the other 7K to the trade in value of your old truck to make you think they were giving you a great trade in deal. They were still selling the new truck at the same price, just moving the money around on paper.

Sounds good, make sure any rebates are additional and not included in the deal.

That's what I paid for my King Ranch Ultimate similarly equipped. My plus was they wanted my trade in for whatever reason. KBB trade-in was $21.000 and they gave us $25,000. Add to that they gave us a $1,500 trade-in promotion which I still have not figured out what it was for.

It's a very good price - over 12%

Please PM me and let me know where you're getting that. I'll order from them too if they're not a long distance away.

Dealers in Southern California are just not willing to deal. I saved a bunch by driving 400 miles out of state. To make matters worse, my wife went out to Valencia to buy some DEF and they charged her $22 for 2.5 gallons of DEF. I asked them for a price to install the plug-n-play alarm from Banner Ford and they wanted $450. I drove about a mile away and had it done for $125. I'm all for supporting local business but not when they want to bend you over.

I am located near Baton Rouge, Louisiana for reference. I am not sure if that 9k includes any other rebates or not. I meant to ask that yesterday but I figured even if it did that it still seemed like a good deal.

I tried to send messages to the ones that wanted the dealer info...but not sure if it is going to the right place - "visitor messages". Are we allowed to post dealer info in the thread?

I think my Lariat Ultimate was $73 and change and I got it out the door for $68k back in March.

$63k sounds pretty reasonable to me.

The Lariat ultimate I bought in April had a sticker price just under $70k and they came down to $63k before trade in and rebates. This was in southeast Houston. Coming off $9k seems good.

Seems pretty good - A plan pricing with rebates I would guess.
