48 f6 front end swap?

I came across a 2008 f550 2x4 that was rolled and totaled out selling as scrap. The rear should be straight forward swap was wondering what to measure and look at before I jump into this? or if this has been done before? This would be going onto a 1948 f6 frame.

Thanks!

Track width. or at least hub to hub. I think you will find it to be much too wide.
Saw one used on a late 40's Stude truck......not pretty.

Would the width be a problem with an F7-F8 front fenders and grill?
