2014 f350 with 8x225mm wheels?!?
bought a new truck a couple weeks ago and started kicking around the idea of tires and wheels (because im never satisfied with just letting things be). Its a 2014 f350 drw cab chassis crew cab with the awesome 6.7 and a CM hauler bed.
ive read all over the internet that this truck should have 8x200 lug patterns on it....... however when I measured the lug studs across the hub center I got 8-7/8" which calculates to 8x225mm! WTH? so my truck has a lug pattern from a 99-04 f450? doesn't make sense.
I realy wanted to put a set of 19.5 Alcoa's with the semi 10 lug pattern and 280/70r19.5 shoes on her but the lug adapters say ill have to notch the wheels center hole to clear the 8lug pattern and all that trouble doesn't seem worth it.
wondered if you guys could help clear up why my truck has this pattern on such a late model truck I would appreciate it.

I ordered a '16 F350 dually KR with the F450 front end option (high capacity trailer tow). Didn't like the '17 wheels/tires so I did some research and found American Eagle makes a 20" wheel for dually trucks. I bought 6 of them and upgraded to Michelin 34" 275-65-20 Defender tires. Love the looks and it rides very nice.
