I wish I could afford to get it professionally redone, but the last person who said he'd fix it just put an expensive band-aid on it.

That'd be my choice but my driveway is 1/8th mile long with no other way in/out.

i hope everyone is high and dry.. the creek is trying to get up to the highest i have ever seen it in over 30 years.. it is just a few feet from the top of the bank outside my bedroom window.. it is moving very fast and full of trees and such... with the widow open the sound and feel is menacing... gotta love it when it is like this.....

Got a text from Jesse in West Plains.
Between the time he shot that and sent it to me, the water was even higher. As soon as the water recedes enough that I can get down there, I'll have to go down and asses the damage and likely drag it home.

Nope - water is over the roof now and the dorms are flooding. He's putting everything up high and getting ready to evacuate. He's going to let me know when he and his brother are safe.

Alan - I probably have another crush car for you...

No sleep tonight...

Both boys are safe and working to find some place to stay. There's shelters set up, but they are seeing if they can stay with friends first.

Alex sent me that one. The dorm is the building in the background...

Glad to see you haven't washed away RC. We've got an extra teenager this morning as one of the Grease Monkey's friends couldn't get home last night due to flooding. Both boys are now at the First Baptist Church in West Plains. I'm hoping to have a list of their immediate needs so I can start gathering stuff up today so I can be ready to roll as soon as the roads open later this week.

Just found a picture of the dorm my boys were in. The small silver car above the red one is Jesse's Neon...

dave... does your auto insurance cover floods? .. i hope so...

my road is washed out dont think i can get down it.. i would imagine all the roads around me are in bad condition.. may be a few days or weeks before it gets back to normal.. with the rest of the state and county roads that were damaged i dont think my road will receive any attention for a long time..
