I want to replace the plastic trim over the rear bumper under the hatch. I took it apart found a part number of yc35-78403b22-agw. but no luck. its black has a cut out for the latch from the rear door.

That has to be what the OP is talking about but hopefully not since its obsolete and will be hard to get. If that is it then it looks like the only one available in the country is at Beaman Ford in Nashville, PH: (800) 624-6587.

Unfortunately once Ford discontinues a part and all dealers sell out they are gone forever. It looks like the black piece is YC3Z78403B22AAA and the cover is YC3Z7842624AAA. They are both obsolete and no dealers show the black piece but the dealer I mentioned above does have the cover according to the Ford locator.
