Door locks don't work, head lights go out
I know I have seen this post on the forum before but I can't seem to find it. Door locks/unlocks do not work. When I press the switch the head lights go out but the door locks do not move. Everything else works fine. Any help appreciated.

Funny, I throw a thread out there about the VSM, and then this one pops up right after.
I agree, most likely the VSM. My dealer has a new one in stock for $250, plus another $100-150 to program it. A variety of different issues can crop up when it fails. My power door locks quit working, and the stereo and power windows will work anytime. Different trucks have different patterns of what works/fails when the VSM craps out. There is a fuse you can pull, then reinsert, and the VSM will sometimes resume working for a short period. It only worked once for me, for one day. I think it was fuse 19.

We might be neighbors (Banner WY) but I also noted that the interior light would not go off. Pulled #19 fuse, waited for about 30 sec. replaced and everything works normal. It does appear to be the VSM. Thanks everyone for the help.

Any chance the vsm effect the pcm or fuel delivery?
Just asking because sometimes on my 02 you'll hop in and windows doors and radio dont work. My fuel issue is youll have good fuel pressure for about 10 min of driving and then it cutts off to 0.
