Just found a Bronco.

I just found an 80's Bronco, not sure what year, I think it's an 87-91 if I'm not mistaken but I'm not 100% sure, Eddie Bauer, Brown Leather Interior. Has a GM 350 Motor and a 350 Turbo Trans. Runs and drives, planning on restoring it within' the next year maybe less depends but gonna have the whole exterior fixed and repainted. Redo the whole interior. Pulling the frame off the body fix that, and do some motor work. Probably will be lifted too.

I'm totally new to this Bronco stuff, I'm a GM guy but me and my dad have 2 F250's that we drive around town and use for Snow Plowing in the winter time. Just need some input and info so I know what I'm getting myself into.

Welcome to bronco's. Ive found that there amazing vehicles.

They have a very sturdy/firm chassis which is good for off-roading and having if lifted. It is a misconception that broncos are not good, and there top heavy. becuase there great suvs. Also the 302, and 351 are great motors. But your saying it has a gm engine. WELL THE 350 is a great motor.

bronco's have had a couple recalls so check that out. If it runs, it will be a great truck.

the only thing that is really bad about bronco is the electric motor transfer case. they have a bad record. but that all early90's ford with that.

It's a GM Engine AND Trans so I shouldn't have any problems, runs and drives great.

Well... To each, his own... I guess. Jeff's Bronco Graveyard is a great place to get parts.

P.S.- They even sell Ford engines & transmissions!

Try $1,000, can't really pass it up, with a fresh paint job and everything I wanna do it should be right around $5,000 completely done.

You'll spend more than the truck will ever be worth, but go ahead anyway.

Keep an eye out for a equal parts bronco, maybe a couple of donors.

It's not gonna be worth anything to a Ford Fan with the GM drivetrain, I hope you clear that up in your mind during the restore. Oh, and it's not gonna be worth anything to a GM guy because it's a Ford.

But go ahead and spend your money on what you want.

In the VIN the letter L is the year 1990, That's the 10th digit. So K would be the 1989 year model, I think "I" was skipped. There's a decoder on this site to help determine what's the year.

Ya its worth every bit of $1000. But buyer be-ware. That bronco will never be worth more than 4k.You may get 4-5k MAYBE. just a simple fact, do the a age of the truck. the only thing that really makes old antiques worth anything is that they are all original. Which this bronco is definitely not.

but in running condition for 1k this is definitely a deal.
But i wouldnt put more than 2k in it. that's just me.

You can get interior seats at salvage yards, like rusty acres,, etc for 300-400 bucks in good shape, COMPLETE.
Also a great lift kit an all also
BODY lift $150Kit +250 labor
Suspension LIFT $850 + 500 labor.

But like i said putting 4k in a truck is ALOT. thats a huge down payment on a NEW truck.
Just think about, it. not saying its stupid, just all depends on personal preference.

A pretty paint job & a nice set of wheels is what sells a car to 90% of people.
If you were looking for a way to make a living, I don't think you'd be in modded vehicle sales!
I assume you just want something to play with that you won't be ashamed to take a girl on a date in.
Hurry up & get it. I want to see some pics.
