HEY every body, FYI I think all of us (including myself) have understand bad that pic, even named STUPID PIC, BUT if you look carefully in the pic the pipe wrech IS ON THE SMALL BARREL and NOT ON THE THREADS. SO IT IS RIGHT!!
It doesn't look to me to be touching the small part..
Look at the pic again, for optic ilusion, it seems that is on the threads, but is not, the arrows show the contact with the small part, and even the upper jaw, is not aligned with the threads, if you look carefully you cant see one part of the threads, because the jaw is above of them. Als you can messure in your mind the height of the jaws of the wrench in relatiion with the vise.
Lets try to help this guy get his truck running and worry about whether the wrench is on the threads or not later.

Should i get oil out of all injectors while cranking?
Ill report back with outcome thanks
James not totally OT, you started with that link.
But you are right we should continue with the OP sorry.
Oil From All While cranking...RE fill the Res with oil before trying to start it...
BTW, have you changed the oil recently ?
Yes oil has been changed. New fuel filter
Just got the IPR back in and letting truck charge back up charging with onother truck.
It seem im only getting oil out of a few injectors while cranking not sure if truck not charged enough?
Apparently i bought a bad CPS Put old one back in and now getting smoke out of tail pipe.
Res is full
Just to clarify should i be getting oil out of all injectors while cranking over?
Yes, you should be getting oil out of all of them. And bad CPS do happen. Thats why its always good to have a spare. Its good that your getting smoke out the tailpipe again. How many miles does this truck have?

Only around 145,000. Im not getting oil out of all, mybe do to batteries being a little low? It does act sometimes it wants to start but just wont. I did get it running a few day ago when i was at this stage till it ran out of fuel i had fuel line in a 5 gal tank after so much cranking over the last couple of weeks didnt realize how much fuel they will cycle even when not runnning.
Is your air filter clogged? I remember when i had the K&N filter, I put in an oiled filter that wasn't supposed to be in there. The truck wouldn't start either.
Also, check the uvch wiring. You might not be getting a connection to some of the injectors causing them not to fire which would be why your not getting oil out of them which in turn would cause it not to start i would think. Check all the wiring just to make sure.

The wiring seems good i only found one bad wire for the glow plug on the drivers front. the rest all looked good.
I just got done cranking over it was really close to starting lot of smoke acually thohgft it did start. Could there be air in the oil lines that needs to be bled out by cranking? I just pulled the IPR and cleaned i did plug hole to stop oil from leaking out with a stick bobber Just wondering also can i check all injector wires with a test light ? I probed one wihile cranking and the light lit can i check all that way? Just to make sure they all are getting a signal or am i way off with that
You should be able to start it on only 4 cylinders, personal experience.
You can check injector wires with a test light, but I wouldn't try it. (110 volts, or do you have a 97 120 volts then)
There could be air in the oil rails. When my batt's were low, the truck would only run for 10 sec and die. I had to start it and instantly rev it 1200 rpm until the GPR shut off, then it ran. once the BAtteries charged no problem.

Ok i will stay away from that idea! I think i will charge batt up real good overnight and plug in block heater, cant hurt and check tomorrow.
Really do appreciate you guys helping out Thanks I will post back then hopefully with good news
