Need Help!!
Hey everyone, I was trying to troubleshoot my truck tonite and ran across this forum. hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. My truck is a 2000 F-350 wrecker with a 7.3/AT. Truck has approx. 340k on it, It had a hypertech chip, cold air intake and aftermarket exhaust. Earlier today, I was towing a 30ft camping trailer/toybox that was left stranded by it's tow vehicle. All started out good when after a couple miles, it felt like the trailer brakes were dragging.. my truck lost power, the boost gauge was up to 22psi, and the egt's were a hair over 1000. I got teh trailer dropped and limped it home.. it ran smoothly (no missing) just no power. I changed the fuel filter that didn't cure it. I pulled the codes and got 4... 1249, 1690,1209, and 1211. I checked the oil level in the hpop, it's full. The engine cranks for a long time before it starts and to me it acts like a gas motor does when flooded. I'm stumped! any help would be greatly appreciated! Chad

Superdutysquirrel that was the 6.4 forum you linked to. The OP has a 7.3. Try this forum instead.
