I just bought a f250 2001 7.3. i bought it with problems ( i was told about most of them). 190k.. 4x4 .. it has after market or proformance injections on it. meaning. fuel pump and all the lines and fuel pressure gage mounted to it. on the rh side of the motor. we have a pulse for the injector but when its idleing and i pull the plug off one of the injectors there is no change in idle, how ever i went to the lh side and pulled one plug and it idle down and missed. (like its suppose to ).. i pulled one good injector out on the left side put in it in the rh side. and pulled the plug and it idled down .. I figured it just had bad injectors. soo i replaced them witn new ones. I plugs the good injector back on the lf side and got the truck idleing again and pulled the plug . and it didnt idle down. nor did any of the rh side bank ... these are new injectors. could the be shortning out?
i have put a ohm meter on the injectors and it reads .002..is that good?
any help would be greatly appreciated. david
