Hi, I'm Chris and I live in Wisconsin. I have a 1978 F-150 4X4, a 2005 Escape, and 2 1985 Mustangs. Here are some pics of the F-150.
I've owned the f-150 for about 5 years, pulled it out of a ex-farmer's field where it sat for about 10 years. I got it running , put the t-case back in and found the trans ws junk.I am just now geting it rebuilt, should be back in next week. I have replaced all the brakes,u-joints, radiator, shocks,hoses,belts,tune-up, converted it to part-time 4x4, added headers, and got some 35 x 14.5 Ground Hawgs(I got 'em for $250 mounted). The t-case was rebuilt the PO just never installed. The c-6 is getting a TCI maximizer rebuild kit and an ACC Boss Hog Ultra Tow converter. Next up is body and paint!
Hi Chris and welcome to FTE!
That is a very nice start on your 1978 F150 4X4, I really like these trucks alot, the same as Mustangs too.
Nice to see you`ve found the 1973 - 1979 F-100 And Larger F-Series Trucks forum, next join your local Wisconsin Chapter and meet the folks there too: Wisconsin Chapter - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums
Nice Truck!
Were in Wisconsin are ya?
I see, Like my truck, your truck only has 1 windshield wiper.
And the cab roof running lights, which were an option on all '73-'79 F-100/F-350s.
