Question rad help

i have a 77 f-250 crewcab 4x4 with a/c and a 4 speed manual transmission that i am swaping in a 460 that is a mild build that the engine is going to have 400+ hp out of the truck will a becool aluminum rad with eletric fans be enough to cool my truck and what thermostat would work like a 160 degree or is their a different rad that with minor modafacations that would work?

For the best engine life use a ~195°F thermostat. The minimum stat to use would be 180°F. I like to use Cooper-RobertShaw brand thermostats. Use a 3 or 4 row core radiator in a stock configuration with a stock fan shroud and a thermostatic clutch mechanical fan for maximum airflow. If you need more cooling than that use an auxiliary pusher fan on the front side.
