There is a slight and I mean SLIGHT EGT advantage to the duals, but 99% of it is for looks and you also get to smoke out ricers from both sides at stop light too! The MBRP are the best fitting duals out there and they are available in aluminized, 409 and 304 stainless. They will cost a little more but the design and fit is worth it, plus we have a guaranteed pricing policy to make sure you get then as competitive as possible. We also have the 4 to 6 inch 18 inch long tips as well as a big assortment of turn downs and 4 to 5 inch ones too. Call us if you have any questions etc.

I wasn't implying to buy from DM, that was where I saw the video clip. I see you have the same clip from MBRP on your site. Sorry if it sounded otherwise.

Well I think I'm going to go with the Aluminized steel duals, unless I get a 4" single system off Ebay for a very GOOD price. Got a couple bids out there now, but "reserve" has not been met. We shall see. Thanks to ALL for your input. I will keep you posted.
I'm having digital camera issues, but I'm trying to get some pics up by fri. Sorry!
Yeah, I did install it myself. Or should I say I helped my buddy install it ( he owns a diesel performane shop here). It wasn't hard really. It was just the first silverline dual system ( to our knowledge) in No. Nevada, so it was more of a "hey, lets see how it fits this way" kinda thing. The end result is SWEEEEET! You will however, lose your spare tire storage if you run anything bigger than stock tires.
Now on the spare tire thing; I did talk to a guy who has a dual system for sale and he says the spare tire WILL work in the stock location, but it does have to come down for the install. I run 35's on my truck, but my spare tire is stock size. The kit I'm looking at says it uses the stock hangers but they must include one for the passenger side where the pipe exit's on that side.
It depends on the system. There are dual systems that have the drivers side pipe run outside the rear shock. The silverline however, runs inside. Funny thing is, the same system for the d.....dd.......ddd.......dodges ( whew, got it out) run the drivers side pipe outside the shock. Since I'm running 37's I obviously never planned on fitting a spare under the bed anyway.
I keep that spare up there for an extreme emerency which I cannot plug the flat tire on the spot or I'm too far from home. One has to consider that if the rear tire goes flat, you have to pull a "good" front tire off and put it on the rear.
no, i asked mark from DPPI and he said it would be harder to convert single to duals, rather than just selling the single and putting that towards dual exhaust. i was going to sell my single for duals, and then some "unexpected" bills came up and i had to lay down the money i had saved for the conversion on the bills.
Just so happens I met a guy that did the change and my exaust has no muffler. I asked him about his old exast and he said I could have it. So now I got 2 (the wheels are turnig)
