My F600 Crewcab Dually Project
I’m adding rivnuts to the bed to hold the plate that the ramp door closes against. I tried using the plastic type pins that are used on the underpinning of cars, but they weren’t very solid. Also looking at a wiring plan for the ID lights. I plan to use metal tubing to shield the wires until they reach the left edge of the door, then, I’ll use flexible material to run the wires to just under the corner of the bed. That should keep them protected and out of the way when the door is in use.
I got all the rivnuts installed. Still need a little trimming on the panel the screws are holding, but plan to wait until the bed it aligned to the cab and bolted down.
Making a hard tube to house the ID wiring and will have weather pack connections to allow removal of the light from the cover and the bumper and cover from the truck.
Weather pack connector on the ID light.
I haven't been spending very much time on the truck the last few weeks. I had taken the body parts off of my car to install wide body parts on it. So, I worked on getting that back together. I started insulating the shop and my loft before the holidays and am still working on using up the material I bought for that job. I also started building walls in the loft to divide the space as I had intended when I built it years ago. So, the truck is getting worked on, just not every day, all day.

It’s been a couple of weeks and I’m still framing up my upstairs area.
I remembered to stop by the steel store this morning when I was out and picked up a piece of 1 1/4 x 1/8 wall DOM and a matching length of 1 inch bar stock. I still didn’t like the bigger hinges I installed, so I’ll make my own.
I've been trying to get my building a little better to work and relax in. We've done a lot of work on the loft area, (Man Cave). Still have a lot more to do, but I feel good about the progress.
I've also made a lot of progress on my Z3 wide body install. I'm looking forward to driving it in the next couple of weeks.
I picked up a new to me forklift, so the engine transfers from my donor truck too the build will be able to happen soon.
I've got a home project I need to start and finish before I get back to the F600, but things are getting more positive.

Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
My brother accused me of having a squirrel brain. He’s not far off. I have a tendency to bounce around to different things. They’re all things I want to get done, so, I’m ok with it.
