Nice1
That is probably a pretty good motor coming from Ford Power Products
Might have been an industrial one with a forged crank and better internals
I work on a few Zambonis; they have those same FPP engines except they are 1.9l engines like an old Escort had
Industrial and tough has been my experience
Does it have a 2BBL carburetor on it?

Originally it did, but my FIL, who I bought it off of, had put on an Edelbrock intake and 4bbl carb. Streetmaster 390
Well, for state inspection to pass, the panels just have to be "secured"
They used to send us cars to see if we would pass or fail them trying to get our tit in a wringer
I found one and they, (UHP) paid me to put new floorboards in it
We used to just rivet them in
The pros now glue panels in and do no welding anymore
Next patch panels I do, I think, I'll glue
Got back to work on the driver’s side. Drilled my rivet holes (3/16” drill) and prepped the metal. Painted up with Eastwood Rust Encapsulator and seamsealer. Still had that little gap, so using the scrap from my “overzealous trim” job, tabbed up a small patch and riveted it in. Next up, sand the floor and primer. Oh and attack those seatbelt bolts, which are T50. One seems to have the Torx teeth rounded off so that’s gonna be a fun time. Yabba dabba doo time No flo’ no mo’ Zip zip zip I still see you, gap! Patch job “Fabrication” hahaha This thing saved me sooooo much time!!! Not an affiliate link. I get nothing if you visit it or not. IDGAF. Find it here!!
Now you have done it, shown a bunch of people a shiny new tool. Well that's just great, THANKS!
And those floor pans look good and are far better than my first time doing them.
Thanks haha I appreciate it. Felt like I’m just doing shade tree mechanic hack jobs 🤷♂️ but I guess you know what they say, if it’s stupid and works, it ain’t stupid at all
