my seasoned wood piles getting a little slim. And majority of its all small chunks. Winter temps keep popping in and out right now.

Sensational sunny Saturday morning Vermont, Jim, Shawn, Shawn and Woodchucks everywhere. I hope everyone had a great weekend eve party and didn't overdo it! Starting the morning at 42° just before daybreak. In my woods at 0930 it is bright sunny and 62° and according to the Soothsayers crystal ball we sill reach the low 70's by 1200.
I may do some outside work later and weed whack the bank out front. I also need to finally get out in t hollow between the house and barn and remove a bunch of saplings and small trees so I can have a clearer view of the barn this summer! OH, we skipped the weekly Friday trip to town, so I ***-U-Me we will be going today.

minimum is 6 months seasoning. But better is yes for it to season a year. The little chunks i got left will do for the spring snaps.

Day 1 and 270 miles in the book. Out of Florida and in GA for the night. Late start because we went to church before we left. 370 miles on the plan for tomorrow, headed to Charleston NC to see a friend of Helen's. Have a good night. Looks like weather at home might be against us.
