I picked this truck up almost a year ago and over the last 2 months really started going thru it. Truck is in amazing original condition. It had a big overhead camper on it which kept the sun out of the interior. I should be done with it in the next couple weeks. I’m really excited about this one. Truck is cleaning up really nicely. Planning to make a few post over the next week or so to get this project up to date. My Wife really liked this truck and claimed it to be hers. She has been helping out occasionally with this one which is nice having good company in the garage. Plan on this one is full mechanical rebuild, restoration of paint, new windshield and seals and fully go through truck and detail all aspects of it. Original style 16” steel wheels, original hubcaps and new tires ofcorse.
Day I brought it home. Drove it 20 miles. Didn’t do to bad. Truck is original paint. This tailgate is literally new condition due to having camper in bed it’s whole life Did a quick cleaning, was waiting on latch hardware that I ordered as it was missing Original seat in like new condition Truck is extremely straight. It’s going to polish up nicely Daughter Brooklyn helping me rub out a few small spots to see how well paint was going to come back to life. Crazy documentation in glove box. Every gas fill up and maintain everything logs from first fill up in 1967 till around 2004 when it was parked.
Man that thing is clean. And it being a 67 imo. makes it even better. I 'm sure you know that 67's have a lot of one year only parts. Those camper special emblems when you can find them on e-bay go for stupid money and that style of emblem was only used on the 67,68,69 camper specials. Good luck on finding someone to replace your windshield none of the glass co. where I live will touch mine. I even e-mailed Safe-Lite about 3 months ago and I've not got a reply and I don't think I will. That's a good looking square back in the background. It reminds me of the old VW Bug I had years ago. I traded it straight across for the 67 SWB that I have.
Thanks Lilorbie, Im planning to install new windshield with original molding this week hopefully. I did my windshield on my 66 f100 last year, I found some good install advice / tips on FTE, Install actually went pretty smoothly so hoping for the same luck this time around. The VW is a 69 Fastback Father son project that I'm doing with my 15 year old son Landon. Landon has a thread on thesamba regarding that build.
RPSM I was born and raised in Orange County, CA, in the late 50's. So I was there for the start of the California Look on VW's. A good friend of mine from high school the only cars that they had were VW's. And when they finally stopped having kids the total was including Mom and Dad was 12. From what I have heard about putting the windshield in the 67/72 F-100's is put the rubber on then put the trim into the rubber and put the windshield in top first and then the bottom. They make it sound sooo easy. There's a you tube channel you might want to checkout. It's called AutoRestoMod and one of their videos shows them putting in a windshield in a 72 F-100.
Nice find. It is already well preserved as is. You'll appreciate the quality of the original paints and materials Ford put into these trucks when new, newer repro parts and paints are rarely as durable as original issue. If the hubcap in back of the bed is original to the truck, it originally came with 16.5" wheels when new, If it came with 16" 2 piece wheels, the hubcap would be smaller than the one you have. A Marti Report should show original wheel size. Also, most '67's came with an oil bath air cleaner assembly's.

Thank you, Yes I actually polished paint last weekend and it came out great. ill be posting pics soon.Truck came with 16.5s but went with a new 16" steel wheel to allow for better tire options. I also got a Marti Report and will get a pic of that posted also.
My Dad helping pull engine and trans for rebuild. Rebuilds will be nothing fancy just quality rebuilds to stock specs. I just installed the hoist and haven’t been able to figure out the wireless remote that I bought off eBay so that’s why pops is in a lift controlling it. Only a 6’ corded remote with 18’ ceiling Lol. Loading the cruise o matic trans to drop off at shop with the my recently finished 66f100. Steering box was also sent out to red top for a rebuild. The Wife and Daughter rebuilt the mirrors with SS fastener kit I was referred to on EBay. Fully disassembled, polished SS parts then reassembled and installed with new SS hardware. Came out real nice!
Stainless hardware is a great improvement over original, should have been like that from the factory! Found a photo of a '67 with same color combo when new.

Damn that pic is making me want to go with the original wheels and Bias Ply Tires. I love that look. From the pic it looks like rims matched the body Wimbeldon white paint and hubcaps in Argent? Anyone know the for certain? Originals that came with truck. Thinking to restore in factory colors? Marti Report. I went with the fancy framed option as I think this kind of stuff looks good hanging in my garage.
Man that garage is very impressive. Wish I had that much room, but then it would most likely be full of stuff. The look on your daughters face is like Dad just take the picture and lets move on.

You are correct ,wheels were Wimbledon White and hubcaps were painted Ford Argent Silver with black trim. Your Marti report says it came with 7.50-16, interesting, those are the same 2 piece wheels shown in camper photo above that automatically came with the smaller hubcap. Here is a photo of another Pebble beige '67 F 250 that came with the other wheel option, the 1 piece 16.5" which used the large style hubcap. What is odd is that you have the deeper larger 12" hubcaps that was used in '67 and some '68's. Later '68-'72 F 250's with 16.5" and 2 piece 16" came with the shallower 12" hubcaps.
So the truck is now driving and working on fine tuning the the small things. Here’s some pics from the last few months of the progress.

Great detail work! Paint really buffed out well in the solid areas. I'm not a fan of repainting, however some companies can provide the original single stage paint color formula in a spray can for smaller repair areas. It's possible to "fog in" some areas and then wet sand for a decent hard to detect job.
