Nasty weather today, lots of fog that made highway driving difficult. Here's a view of the east rover from the FDR drive.
The Ex is filthy from all the melting snow and salt and rain. I think I need a new rear wiper arm as its not wiping in the center. Seems like the spring is a little weak. Also, the drivers side front wiper is doing the same thing at the very end of its stroke. It seems like where the arm connects on bottom there is a little bit of play. I think the pressure of the spring causes it to tilt on its mount at the bottom. Hard to explain, maybe I'll post a video.

my front pax side wiper is doing the same but only in subzero temps, the blades are new.
i posted the rear wiper part number a few posts back. works great now!
I was wondering what the deal was. My 2002 was almost invisible compared to this 2000 blocker bar
can the bar from a later model just bolt up? best of both worlds
I think that you need to replace both front spring hangers, as that is what the bar mounts to. Housedad swapped his front hangers on his '05 to the earlier style to allow for the front hitch that has the receiver tube below the bumper vs the later style that comes out in the middle of the bumper opening.
Replaced the pcv valve and hose, it was super easy. Thanks HouseDad, your tech write up made all the difference in the world. I also added a light bar to the front.
Finished the brakes in 10 degrees. After the snow from yesterday had to finish them up. The old caliper brackets the slide pins were rusted solid. So I replaced everything with new and ceramic pads. Only took a pic of the old rusted rotors. Now I have brakes that work. They halfway worked before.
Entertained my boredom today. At first I thought what a great original idea that no one else has thought of, then I noticed a few people on here had the same idea, so that gave the opportunity to see how it looks first, So I added some FX4 badges today.
I had originally ordered the blue/grey, but received the black/grey, I found this out once I had installed the drivers side and was peeling the paper back. So I installed the pass side, although I liked the black/grey, I had ordered the blue/grey, contacted the seller, he sent me the correct ones without hassle. So those went on today. Tried to follow the pinstripe for level on the first set, somehow that put the final appearance slightly crooked against the glass. I tried to compensate for that on the second go round, still a little off, but I'm fine with it at this point.
I like it, but wonder what it would have looked like under the pinstripe rather than on top. Isn’t it below the stripe on the super duty pickups?
I thought the same thing, would've been getting close to the fuel door I thought. They are good quality vinyl, from Ebay for $15.00 with free shipping. So I could always order more.
