I am mocking up the Crown Vic heater core to see if I can make it work. OEM core was leaking bad and had bee patched several times.

Looking good, pex fittings that's a good idea. I have to do this soon as well, mine crapped out quite a few years ago now on the 64. I was under the understanding that and econoline van heater core was similar and just need some small modifications as well.Going to get more popcorn, I'm enjoying your build.

Cool truck. I like it better with these tires and the blackwalls.

I'm really late to this party. I just read the whole thing - what an awesome build!!
I will definitely be following along on this one!
I have to agree about the new tires - as much as I liked the faux whitewalls, this recent upgrade looks awesome!

I wanted to ask you about the seat belts you installed. Where did you get them and, if I may, how much were they?

I've recently (5 days ago - lol) purchased a 65 F100 and my head is spinning with all the things I want to do to it.
Reading through this thread and poring over the photos has me wanting to run outside and start tinkering even though it's only 10 degrees out there - lol.
My first concern is to make it safe enough to take my grandson with me when I go joyriding. Those belts would go a long way to help make that happen.
I also like the idea of you locking up that rear end. Did you just add that S clip or was the whole unit new?

So many questions - so little time - lol.

It looks like you've lifted the body off the frame 3-4". Tell us more (?).

The seat belts were purchased thru LMC Truck for $90. I put in a Limited Slip Differential 8.8" 31 Spline OEM M-4204-F318C along with 3.08 gears n a complete bearing kit. it had 2.73 gears and I didn't want to go any lower than the 3.08s. the body was lifted 3 inches for wheel clearance. the step side box still needs to be lifted.
I am thinking of ideas on how to fill in the gap between the front bumper and lower grill before I go any further.
