Been tinkering around a little bit this week while waiting for my floor pans and left cab mount to show up from Dennis Carpenter.
The fuel filler area was pretty well bashed in. I'm still working on it slowly.
Looks like my parts showed up today so I can get busy tomorrow.

Got her pretty well tacked in today.

Those cheesy panel clamps actually work great.

This is the 3rd one I've done. They definitely get easier with experience.

Cutting and fitting is the majority of the job. Tacking and welding it in is easy and quick.

What size wire are you using in your welder?

All in all floors look ok. Typical rust, should be an easy repair. Roof looks like somebody had a party on it.

I just laugh when people say " should be an easy repair".

You haven't checked out my build then have you. Your floors looked great compared to mine. I didn't mean any disrespect by that. I could have been a lot worse.

If I ever get 220v over to my shop, I'll be doing the pass side floor too. That's why I asked about the wire size. All I have now is 0.30. But all that will have to wait until after Nov. Hunting camp is coming up.

I'm using a 110 volt Lincoln mig unit. It works great on sheet metal and I've also used it for 1/4 inch stuff.

Update on Buttercup.

Had some additional rusted areas that required a patch.

Trying to lay it out.

Compound angles, yuck!
