Red05Interceptor, this is an excellent build. I really like the stance of your truck, especially the front end. I'm getting ready to tear apart my 64 F-100 Flareside. Originally I was going to do the front crossmember only. However after calculating that cost, matching the rear bolt pattern, fuel tank relocation, etc. I've decided to do a full frame swap. Also, interesting enough, the car and truck are less than 1" difference in wheelbase. I've purchased a 2009 CVPI frame with a 3.55 locker rear end. Literally the body is pulled and I have everything from the body down. I am however going to keep the 351 Windsor that's currently in the truck. I was curious as to what steering column that is, and what did you use and do to connect it to the crown vic rack? Also, when you swapped in the new front struts, are those the non police version to get the stance that you have? I was actually surprised when I looked it up to find that the car weighs roughly 1000 pounds more than the truck. I'll probably go the same route and widen the bed to keep the rear end that's under the car. Then look at my wheel options. What year Mustang were those for? Sorry for the long post and all the questions, It's just nice to see another flareside being swapped.

PLAIN Steel Raw Paintable 28" Tilt Street Rod Floor Shift Steering Column No Key (e-bay) copy n paste n do a search it comes right up

Ford F1 F100 F150 F250 Pick Up Truck Black on Black Steering Wheel, Ford Horn (eBay)

Same here

The steering shaft n swivels were from summit racing if u measure the diameter of the steering column shaft n then the shaft on the rack then measure the distance the shaft needs to be I waited until I had the k member bolted in and the engine was installed and then the steering column...so I could check for clearance etc

The sprigs n struts r for the police package but not the reason it's lower in the front the crown vic k member from the floor to the bottom of the frame is 15 inches so I set it up so the top swivel brace on the k member bolts squarely and right up to the top of the f100 frame so I made up 2....2 inch spacers to go on top of the lower k member n the bottom of the frame so the frame on the truck only lowered it 1 1/2inches from Oem

The rims n tires are 2010 premium gt wheels-2005 to 2009mustang gt from America muscle

I looked into just swapping the body from the f100 onto the cv frame n I found out ( in my case ) that it was much easier to swap the cv suspension onto the f100 frame

The cv fuel tank will stick up into the bed floor an and u have to heavily modify and cut the cab floor and that's way more then I want to do with the limited tools I have
there r some guys that have done this swap so it can be done

THANK YOU for all the info! I really do appreciate it. I like the way you put the box tubing under the frame in the cradle. I'm not looking to lay mine on the ground either.

The fuel tank sticking up into the bed is really the only part that I'm not overly fond of. However, that's the reason that I plan on keeping the cab as high as possible so the hump in the bed is at a minimum. Plus, the truck currently has no bed floor. The wood is all gone and just the side to side braces are there. So once it's on the frame, I can build my bed floor around the hump for the tank.
