when i ordered i had a 500 rebate from ford, 500 loyalty. on the build and price there was 0 incentives. so, when truck comes in and the incentive on the build and price is say 750, would that be on top of the other discounts or only another 250 (from 500 to the 750). I also had and lost the personal offer (was only a 2 week window for me when i got it and was not ready to order yet.) So i feel the pain with the ice cream comment! LOL
The way Ford does rebates is pretty simple. If your rebates get locked in at time of order it is either
A) You get whatever rebates are available at the day of the order (If you get a private offer, you can add it to the rebates here).
or
B) You get whatever rebates are available at the day of pickup/delivery (If your private offer expires before the truck gets delivered, you lose out).
You can't mix and match but get to choose whichever is better. This also includes financing.
Blwnsmoke is correct. One thing to add for clarity... if you get a coupon that is only good during the period after order and before delivery, it's not going to be accepted. Obviously most quarterly coupons won't be affected, but sometimes it takes awhile for an order. Also any sales events between would be missed as well.
I got very lucky, I was hoping my truck would be in last week and checked the mail over the weekend and found the printed brochure in the mail, with a 1000 cash back instead of the 750 I thought I was getting.
Because of Blwnsmoke's warning about timing I waited until the week my truck was being built to request the brochure, requested on 4/24, and selected plan to buy in the next 30 days when I did. I'm not sure if that is why I got more than 750, or if like other say it is zip code/area related, but either way glad this came in before my truck did...

Curious what trim levels are eligible and can you use these with employee pricing? Ordered mine on z plan
I guess I will figure all that out when I sign the papers. I haven't played hard ball at all with these guys but they have been great so far. I considered their first offer for a couple of days and ask if they could come off that price by 500 and they did, so I feel pretty good about the deal.
Go to Ford.com. At the bottom of the page the second column is Titled "Shopping Tools", the 6th item down is the link "Get a Brochure".
You can order up to three of them, so be sure to do so for two other vehicles as well. It doesn't matter if the $750 rebate comes in the brochure for a Ford Edge or the truck, they are good for any Ford vehicle.
You're not saying that this will work with my new 250, are you?

That doesn't look like the coupons that I have gotten in the past. They're usually in the back of the brochure. I think they're usually for $750 right now. If you get a coupon in a brochure for a Ford Focus, it will work for a Super Duty. In the fine print it says something about be good for any purchase of a new Ford within a certain time period.
Sorry Lewis. It sure would be nice to see you get $4,000 off your new truck.
I know mine showed up the week after I bought my truck so like everyone has said make sure to time it right... but msrp on mine was 77K got them down to 68K I think I did alright for the time when I bought mine some dealers were still not moving off the price. And I special ordered mine so I was actually really thinking I was going to pay more since they were going to want to hold on it.

You did some very good negotiations there. You really have to give your dealership some credit there too. Many on this site will tell you that most dealerships aren't willing to budge off the MSRP.
I ran into my Ford dealer's finance guy yesterday. He's been working for Ford for 32 years. He said that this is one of the worst sales years that he's ever seen. He said that NADA predicted this last year and they have never been wrong yet.
In 32 years, he's never had to work Memorial Day. This year they are making him due to poor sales. He's not happy about it at all.
Yeah I waited about 2 1/2 months for mine. And in that time frame I was able to shop around. Its like I told them I can walk away from the deal and find another truck. So we did very little negotiation really the only thing at that price was they put tint and bed liner at first. Then I hit them with ext warranty which they were only willing to do split cost so the deal was actually painless in and out of the dealer with in 1 hr. And they gave me good money for my 12 as well.
