Good morning Connecticut! Stay safe out there, looks like you guys are getting some snow.
I have to say...I miss the winters out there. We don't get nearly as much snow out here, and it's colder. Used the snow blower twice this winter, but we saw -27° a few months ago.
Brrr Tom! I saw a pair of Diablos members ride by me on 691 the other day and the outside temp was 20*. I was like note to self: don't mess with those guys! lol I like riding but F that!!!

No kidding...I'm a fair weather rider. If I'm not comfortable I'm not having fun, which means 60° or higher. My crazy soon-to-be ex-wife got on the bike at 14° last weekend for a spin. A bit much for me, but she has a bit more wind protection than I.
Hi Tom, I used to drive threw the winters here in CT. I used a Yamaha 650 rather than the HD during the winter with a snow suit stuffed with down. I would stop at every coffee shop for heat and when it was real cold I would stop and buy a newspaper and shove it under my clothing. Now I wouldn't take the convertible out unless it was 70 or better with the top down.
Cleaned my steep driveway as best I could and dumped salt on it yesterday ..., to no avail. The slushy slop that remained froze into a bumpy glacier overnight.
Chugged right up it this morning in 4WD with the rear end locked. Hoping it melts today as coming back down it tonight could be interesting.
Meanwhile I'm sitting here waiting for a nice dry warmish driveway so I can replace the starter in the van. Glad I still have the pickup but the drivers interior door handle broke again and I still need to fix the exhaust, among the maintenance list that seems to be growing.
Afternoon everyone, I've been on the trailer tow forum these past few days, good info, lots that I didn't know before. Still hunting for an enclosed trailer. Seems like new 7x16 V nose trailers are going for between 3200-4000 depending on what brand and where you buy them from. To me that means it's a lot better than trying to buy a used once, which most people want close to that kind of money anyway.

Yep, I would agree with that. They seem to hold their value well, but of course getting a deal means taking a trip to pick it up. You can get mixed quality from the cheaper brands, but I really liked my last one, which was made by Freedom Trailer in Georgia.
I referred Greg to the place I bought my two from, and apparently they are making their own trailers now. Greg had a lot of trouble with his, so Southern Dimensions may not be the place to get one now.
