Oh no you're not the Lone Ranger on that. While you are standing there proudly holding The Star Spangled Banner up high, look over your right shoulder. That will be me standing there holding my Cowboy hat over my heart.

Curious

Not to change the subject, but after all the work on LBB have you got to see what the mpg is with all the tweaks and fancy parts?

You're welcome... it was a learning experience. And I'm still learning. I can't wait to get started on reviving my 65 Mustang and wrenching on the 71 F250 so I can return my parts room to a spare bedroom!!!

It's been rainy up here in NorCal so the Ferrari is stuck in the garage.

Today was a Cars N Coffee at The Cobra Experience so I took the '70 LBB... the few guys that did show up appreciated my unassuming f100 with its EFI and five-speed. Met a guy with a 65 F100 project for his daughter and it turns out that 65/66 half-ton 2WDs share much of the same suspension and steering systems with 67-72s so donors all the way up to 79 are possible.

Your truck looks like a sleeper for sure. I bet a few were surprised when they looked under the hood!

Totally. The guys were surprised about the Lincoln e-fan, Volvo relays, 3g alternator, and the sheer number of JY parts I recycled to make it better.

The Sanderson headers got rave reviews too.

.. the gas gauge read zero on the way home. I know it read at least half full when enroute.. I'm thinking the float popped off the sender's arm cuz something was banging the tank on the way home... and my lil tool kit was on the floorboard and not behind the seat... I'll take a peek tomorrow.

Repro? None that I know of. They were also used on Econolines.

The WV Series 62 wheels appear to use Ford centers and are welded to wider wheel barrels so them wheel covers should fit fine. The contours are the same as the OEM 5.5s.

Your next stop is ebay or C/List and just remember how much do you really like them? And on ebay mostly you won't like them so much due to what you'll have to pay for them. As a seller may think they should be worth an much as a oz. of gold is priced.

This "style" of wheel cover 1st came out on some 1971 Full Size Ford cars. Part number D1AZ1130A. Something tiny was changed on it in 1972 and Ford came out with part number D2AZ1130J. Later D1AZ1130A was replaced by D2AZ1130J. As of 1976 Ford came out with a version of the same cover for both Dents and Econolines as Hio mentioned. Trucks part number D6TZ1130A and Econoline's version D6UZ1130A. There is not a full set of four of any of these part numbers on my locators.
Now in my Feb 2013 DC catalog they listed the D6TZ1130A. $65.00 each. On line they aren't now. You might call them.
