I thought my oil pan was leaking for the longest time but I realized it's coming from the seal behind the balancer and the fan is blowing the drips onto the pan. Is this serviceable in the truck without removing the oil pan? I assume I need to get the balance off and somehow unbolt that part? I have a spare engine I'm gonna pull the balancer on first and see how it comes apart but figured you guys would know best.

I was thinking it looked like it was coming from up higher, which after some research leads me to believe that the item i was thinking was leaking was the LPOP.

I will clean it off and look at it better. I am thinking i may be able to cut out that RTV without removing the pan, dremel wire wheel out what i can, clean it really good and use some three bond 1194 to externally seal it.
