Thank You PBSDaddy, the truck that I am going to test drive is a 1997 XL with 164K and a HUGE camper on it that probably weighs two tons! A friend who camps at Assateague looked at a photo and said that it definitely appears overloaded, even with airbag suspension, as it overhands the back bumper by 4 or 5 feet! I was concerned about how well those trucks age, and the automatic transmissions.
Oh, it is also a dually............

I also notice that you picked white. My current truck is white, I chose it for safety after reading how much the extra visibility of just a white helmet, reduced accidents for motorcyclists! I was considering buying a gold truck, but noticed how it blended into the background, so I went with the giant white school-bus look instead.
Well, I did give into the gold a little bit, I got the two-tone option!

Yeah I went with the white this time. It was what they had on the lot. Got a decent deal on it with it being a 16. Bought it on Sept. 30. It is nicely equipped. And I agree. I wont go back to a regular cab again. I enjoy having the extra cab space too much now.
