That sucks! This whole Kansas spring hail thing was new to us...we're from MN and that kind of insane weather is extremely rare in that part of the world. A few feet of snow? Sure! But no raining rocks.
I can't imagine aluminum will be anymore resistant than sheet metal was, or that the repair process will be any better. You're right, that moonroof becomes a liability fast in a serious weather event. Yeesh....
Thats what i ordered as well, I have been a bit confused by the images on the website of the lariat and up 20" wheels. Do they look good in person to you? Nice looking truck!

Thanks. I'm in the minority and prefer 18's over 20's. I like the look better and I like having more sidewall in my wheel/tire setup. I also wanted the 3.31 gears for fuel mileage. I think the 18's look good in person. But that's just preference and opinions will vary.
Park it outside. Up here in Alaska I've always parked my pickup outside and don't see a reason not to.
There are many reasons to park in a garage. Paint lasts longer, leather lasts longer, snow melts off, you don't get wet when it is raining, safer for you and truck, no snow/rain on ground when entering, load/unload without rain, warmer in winter, no bird mess, lower chance of rodent damage, work on truck in lighted somewhat climate controlled area... I put a 27' wide x 33' deep bump out on my existing garage so I can fit whatever truck I buy. Planning on the 22'4" F350 longbed.
