On the tire noise, the RT's must be louder than the Michellins but they are very quiet compared to the Toyo MT's on the other truck. Part of that is just comparing new RT's to almost gone MT's. The MT's made that humming sound that is just ever-present. No biggie but I just got tired of it.

How much PSI are you running in your Epic? I'm running 60/55 in mine.

They are all at about 63 psi. I haven't changed since bringing home from the dealer. I'm thinking I'll just do what you're doing.

Not sure what the tongue weight is on it,need to run it across the scales.

When I had everything loaded and headed to deer camp it wasn't as bad and should had took a picture of it then.
I pulled it like that with no WD bars or anything just off the hitch and it still pulled good an ALOT better than my 16' with everything hooked up.
On the way home I'm gonna hook up the WD bars and sway bar setup and compare.
Cutter, did you have airbags on your previous truck or did you just use WD bars? I wonder if you need a drop hitch with the WD bars to keep the back end up where it should be.

Epic - How did your GAWRs come out? Can you post pics of your door jamb stickers?

I have the RAWR of 7,230 and the front is only 5,200. I was expecting 5,600 on the front axle.

Interesting. Door sticker math says your truck weighs 8,136 lbs. Not sure how accurate the payload stickers are, but that suggests that your truck is a bit heavier than my '11 CCSB was.

I've decided I'm just going to wait a while until the whole sticker thing settles down. It looks like the rear axle ratings are now correct but I'm bummed that my 2011 fawr was 6,000 and this 2017 is only 5,200. And I weighed the truck yesterday on two scales. Full tank with me in it is 8,300 at one scale and 8,280 at another.

The front FAWR does seem light. Apologies if you said already, but did you order the Snow Plow Prep package?

Did you get individual axle weights?

The bulk of the weight savings from the aluminum body is going to be up front, so I sort of see the reduced FAWR. My '11 had 5,600 FAWR. Subtract a few hundred pounds for the lighter body and it sort of makes sense.

My F150 is a full 690 lbs lighter than my '13 was. I'm guessing the added weight in the frame and axles is substantial for the Super Duty.

Hey Tom. No I didn't weigh the axles separately. I don't follow your logic on the weight savings. Wouldn't a lighter truck increase the payload capacity? The front axles and springs haven't changed from the previous generation but the weight that is born by them is less. That should have increased the front axle numbers similarly to the rear axle shouldn't it?

Now I have to start stressing about the front axle because on my previous setup the front axle scaled at 5380 when all hooked up. I was annoyed but ok with the 5,600 numbers I was hearing about but no way I thought the front axle would be derated 800 lbs over my 6 1/2 year old truck.

Yup, if the truck were lighter it certainly should have. We don't know how much heavier the frame and rear axle are, but all the advertising suggests this is where they added weight. So my logic is most of the weight savings from the aluminum body come from the front of the truck, and most of the weight gain from the heavier axle goes towards the rear. Just a guess, of course, but it would justify the GAWR changes.

Did your '11 have the snowplow prep package? Mine didn't, and here was the sticker:

Epic-

If it helps, the Dana 60 front axle itself is rated at 6,000lbs. Ford rates it (for sticker purposes) based on the coil spring rating. As long as your tires and wheels are good for at least 3,000lbs each then you might as well consider yourself to have a 6,000lb FAWR. My truck (an 06) also has the 5,200 FAWR. With 7,500lb coils, OEM 20s and 295/65/20 Toyo MTs rated at over 4,000lbs each, I have no problem considering myself to have a 6,000lb FAWR.

The car wash was a big concern for me. Fortunately the Quick Quack tunnel franchise that I use clears 86 inches. The truck will be somewhere close to 85 when done. I hate being that close but it seems that I've always lived my life on the edge. lol.

I tried to install the dash cam this morning but the micro sd card slot was skeewampus. No go. Back to Amazon with that one.

Have you had your truck through a touchless car wash? I'm hearing that the F150s with the panoramic sunroof have leak problems. Just wondering if you've had this problem?
