So, lots of time using the RV but not much modding going on lately. Plus, it's been HOT. I changed my mind about the automotive fuel pump that would transfer the gas out of my generator tank back into my fuel station tank. I found a really nice quality electric gas transfer pump on Amazon that will do the trick. There is no labor to install it. It comes in a nice air tight case so no fumes while stored. And the best part is I can use it for other projects in the future. Oh, and American made too...

I'm not going to explain how hoodlums from Detroit steal fuel....but it involves a black and Decker, a 1/2 twisted rod like thingy, and a cleanish storage vessel.....

Yes Chad, I've seen the drill bit pumps. Lots of folks use them to change oil on inboard boats when you can't get to the drain plug. They suck the oil right through the dipstick tube.

Not this weekend Gerry. We are recovering from Dells and getting ready for Myrtle beach in a couple of weeks. Instead of smaller trips more often, we are doing a few bigger trips this year that are further out. We only have two more planned for this year. Man this "long hot summer" seems to be going by very quickly...

When the heck are they releasing the horsepower numbers for the 2017 trucks? Are they waiting for the "OK to deliver" date in August?

Josh posted in the 2017 section a while back that there will be a BIG numbers dump this coming Monday. I asked him if it was everything. HP/TQ, GVWR, GCWR, and tow ratings. I got a round about answer so I'm not really sure. Man I hope it's everything.

Good morning Rodney !
I believe Chad meant they simply drill a hole in the tank and grab some fuel.
