This whole "day off" thing isn't a bad deal. I didn't lift anything heavy, set myself on fire or draw blood all day today. ....even had lots of good food. I hope to free up another parking space tomorrow and get that green Ford off the lot.

RC. Yeah, that '95 or whatever year that pile of crap was sitting out back next to the Thunderstang. I got it in this morning and built a new trans mount for it. I need to put some gas in it and replace the 1/4 glass then take it for a test drive and make sure it's ok. Hopefully, I'll check another one off by the end of the day.

 

Well, I made a trip out to Buddy's and got a new quarter glass for that truck. it's all buttoned up except for a trans service and top off the T-case. In any case, that's where I stop with it. He can have it finished up somewhere else. I've spent enough time and money on it.

 

good evening all.. glad you got the window fixed in the 'green' ford alan.. did ya get a new radio too.... i had a guy come and look at a couple of frames today..he left a deposit for one.. tomorrow there is a guy coming by to pick up the 48 and 50 chevy p/u trucks.. so i will have to stick around and make sure all goes well.. i hope he has a way to load the one that dont run..

Good Morning Everybody!

I'm gonna tinker with that green Ford for a little, then get the Thunderstang inside and start building a hood for it. If I get the front done, it can leave. Then the only project there is the C-cab. I'm chipping away at the pile little by little. (don't worry RC, yours is on the list, too. )

Nice out today and tomorrow, then rain for a couple of days. So I think I'm gonna get Ka'Bluey out and stretch his legs for a bit today.
I need to hit a local salvage yard and see about getting a pair of horns, so I can take that wussy thing I got from Autozone off of there.
Tomorrow will most likely be spent mowing the yard, yes that started here a week ago. I also need to get the ground ready for my Tomato plants.

Bob, we're just about ready to mow here, too. I have to get the rider mower to the shop and do the annual maintenance to it before I fire it up. I kinda neglected it last year, so I have to be nice to it this year.

Morning all. I just caught up on here and have to get back to work. It feels good to be making progress n my projects along with customer stuff. I want to have the three customer projects in te shop gone by May 1st, I'm taking that week off and hope to play with my cars and CJ's Vette.

 

Well, I didn't get as much done as I wanted, but the green Ford is done and ready to be picked up. I also got some fender braces made to keep the bottoms of the fenders on the Thunderstang in place. Then got the basic support for the hood hashed out. I'll finish the bracing tomorrow, then start skinning it. The car lot dropped off a truck for some rust repair. I didn't really want to take new work, but I need the money, so here it is in the shop getting rust repair.
