I need front cab mounts for my 1970 F350. Both Dennis Carpenter and LMC list part #C7TZ-5400 is for F100/250. Does anyone know if these will work for my F350.... I am talking about the bolt, washers, and rubbers kit not the sheet metal pieces.
I would like to know before I order. Most other parts listed are comparable for F100 thru F350. Do F350's use a heavier or different cab mount?
Thanks! But they sure aren't cheap... $100 for the kit for front and back.... and $85 apiece for the sheet metal for the front lines.
Because DC uses OEM sheet metal presses. You're practically buying NOS. It's what supports your cab. Do you want to pay for quality or do you want to do it again in five years?

Thanks, good to know. I was planning on buying from Carpenter.
Do you think there is a difference in quality with the cab mount kits: the bolts, washers and rubbers?

I replaced my cab mounts with the cheap Lmc ones after a year or so I seen the thread another member had showing his after acouple years. Wish mine weren't already done oh well now. guess I know what I'll be replacing on my truck in the future. Go with carpenter parts when replacing
Well when it comes to oem or oh crap from LMC this what you get in a few yrs see those crack lines in this thin stamped out sheet metal. Then look at the 2nd picture DC OEM one
Orich you get what you pay for.
DC below any question?
I've definitely heard bad things about LMC cab mount rubbers. Buy from DC.
Thanks for all the advice. I was planning on buying the sheet metal part of the cabmount from DC.... thanks for the tip on the LMC rubbers.... will buy all fromDC now.....
I am trying to save a few bucks to keep the wife off my back about my truck. I told her it would make money by using it in my small part time landscape/mowing business. She says I spend as much on the truck as I make..... I said its a neat truck and its better than paying the bank every month. Besides its a hobby..... she didn't buy that line of thought. I am hoping this is the last of the big expenses for a while so some of my income can go into the household fund...... but then again, I will have a bill when my bro-in-law gets my 54 F100 running.
I also have the LMC rubber mounts that are now with little ozone cracking.
I tracked down oem rubber mounting cushion some from ford dealer some from ebay
and NOS and rearcounter I thinks it's called. So got all the cab 4 corners upper & lowers. Then found the matching bolts & washer at the pnp jy still pretty good shape from other bumps & dents. I'm getting to not trust any after market rubber goods other the nos if it can be found that is..

Hearing this only makes me appreciate my girlfriend even more. She's trying to buy a first gen Mustang and she loves my truck as much as I do.
