nice filter! I got my truck with a flipped over summit cap on the filter. the throttle body spacer the P/O put on screwed up the clearance to the hood.

Don't know how much clearance there is, probably about 1".

Are those stock valve covers with a Ford sticker on them? Simple but looks sharp!

Yes, they are original covers with the Ford logo painted.

Sharp-looking engine!

If you're interested in painting your compressor clutch, it can be taken off in about 10 minutes. Take the retention bolt out and then thread in a 5/8-11 bolt. As you tighten down on the bolt, it will walk the clutch off the shaft. Then just use the retention bolt to tighten it back on.

Sorry, just thought you might want to make the clutch look as good as the rest of your engine. I know a lot of people want to do this but don't because they think it is a lot harder to do than it actually is.

400's count? I wasn't fully finished with it yet when I did the restoration.

I appreciate the compliment. :-winkLooks like there are a lot of good looking engine bays here.
Hey, thanks for the suggestion, the clutch does stick out like a sore thumb.

Gus11208, you and Ranger429 have done a great job under the hoods of your trucks!
