Front Hub & Rotor torque/tension

Can someone tell me what to torque the front hub & rotor assy to? I don't have one of those spring tension/pull things to measure it with. Just want to make sure there are no surprises in a few hundred miles.

Spring tension pull thing, I am not following you there.
Are you talking about the wheel bearing.

You need a torque wrench if you want to set it to factory specs.

Tighten the nut to 22-25 ft lbs, turn the wheel a couple of revolutions, check that the nut is still at 22-25 ft lbs. Loosen the nut 1/8 turn, and then tighten it with your hand only. Put the cotter pin in place. If the cotter pin won't line up, loosen it till it does, no more than 1/2 flat on the nut.

Ah, thanks. That's what I did.

every single time i try doing this by the book she ends up way to lose.
i always tighten it up extra and just back off a little.
this has been the only way iv had luck.
basically as long as the end results is not to much pressure that she heats up,and not to lose.
once your have it locked in there, its not going anywhere.
never could get it even close by the books methods.always way to sloppy.
