Once the filter and hose come apart be ready to move out of the way quickly or you can get a few drops of gas in your eyes.

Save your knuckes
Take those clips off, spray a little brake cleaner into the connections, waith 15 minutes and hey presto the filter comes off as easy as 1, 2, 3.
I find the plastic tool works the best, also rotating the filter while you pull seems to help. |

I thought I would pop a new fuel filter in this afternoon. Found the filter, popped the clamp off on the one side of the hose and I even pulled the little blue tab upward, but I can not get those hoses to let go of the filter on either side. Those hoses are on there good. Is there some trick to this that I am not thinking of? Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving, John |
