aux button
Does anyone know what I need to get my Ipod to work with the AUX button on the factory radio
if you have an aux outlet on your radio go to radio shack and ask for a plug that has male 3.5mm on each end you'll be all set
the radio does not have that outlet just the AUX button
ouch same as mine then sorry I don't know of and adapter that goes into the cd drive. do you have a tape deck in yours
yes i have a tape deck and i have the tape cassett adapter what is the AUX button even for
I'm assuming they left it there but on other models they have the outlet so you can use it. I guess go to walmart an get the tape deck adapter is the best you'll get unless you swap radio's. on mine when I push that aux button it says no aux!
Might be time to upgrade to a nice deck with MP3!
You need a P.I.E. adapter- it will let you play iPod or whatever through that Aux channel. Be sure to tell the shop exactly what year, and what deck you have- they are different even year to year from what I understand. The adapter hooks up on the back of your deck w/factory plug..

is that a factory ford part

If your stereo has the AUX button then you can get a PIE adapter that will plug into the back of your stereo and convert it to an ipod plug, then when you want to listen to your ipod just press the AUX button. :-X22
