headlight upgrade

I am going to do the relay upgrade on my trucks. I have a question. As for the relays what is a good way to mount them. Anyone got some pics of there set up. I have the relays but I want it to look good.

I mounted my relays to a sheet metal plate which I in turn mounted to the back of the core support in front of the battery. I have several more relays...a couple for the headlights, a couple for the cooling fan, and one for the off-road lights, but the plate worked fairly well. There's a picture of it in my gallery...not the best pic...I was trying to capture some of the battery wiring for someone...but it will give you the idea.

I mounted my relays to the passenger inner fender by the battery. I worked very well and the wire lengths are very short.

Velcro tabs on a flat surface would work....

Heat shrink tubing and wire ties will do the trick.

Plastic zip ties and heat shrink .........

ok pardon my ignorance but I can understand using zip ties but what is the shrink tube for.

solder your wires together, ten i use dieelectric grease, then heat shrink over the joint, and you will have a water tight conection.i have done this for years and never had a problen. learned this doing wiring when i worked as an electrician.have seen non coroded conections in wet and corosive enviroments. good luck
