Advice on C6 torque converter...

I need any info out their that might help me make a decision on a torque converter for a 400/C6. I don't want to pay more than $250 and I want to still take my truck off-road. I have about 375hp and 450lbs/tq.
ANY suggestions would be appriciated.
Thanks,
Tim

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 10-Feb-02 AT 06:49 AM (EST)]Really, (ideally) you would want to look at a dyno readout for your truck, to see where the torque curve starts increasing rapidly... essentially, you want the stall rpm of the convertor to match the rpm at which the torque curve shoots up.... of course, you can go higher but it will make your truck less suited to off-road driving.

Well, tht's how I think it works, anyhow 8)
