Tom

If I EVER bought one of those, it would have to come with a NOS kit. Plain and simple. I would have to hold my head in shame if it didnt.

With gas prices the way they are right now ($3.04CDN / US Gallon), it doesn't actually take all that long. I drive about 25,000 miles a year. If I can increase my fuel efficiency by 2 mpg, I can save ~$425CDN per year.

Well, i'm feeling better about my 1.89 a gallon.

Tom,
I agree with your logic and scientic explanation however... Doesn't the "235" in LT235 75R16 refer to "section width" and not "section Height"? A change in tire section width shouldn't change the aspect ratio or final drive ratio of the tire. You already know I am not an expert. This is just what I have read and been taught. (sorry I'm late to the dance).

By the way... I now have some hands on experience with my EGR System so if anyone has questions with theirs, just ask.

The 235 does refer to the section width, however, the 75 refers to the tire height in percentage of the section width. So in this case, the height of the tire is 75% of 235mm or 176.25mm. If you change the section width while keeping the height percentage constant, you still change the height of the tire.

Is there anything I can do to my EGR system to improve my gas milage?

Ah. That makes perfect sense. Thank you.
