I'd love to shoot him. :-X01 Does he taste better smoked or pan fried? :-X05

I don't have his email address or know where to find it. What thread is he posted in?

I would guess the problem comes from a combination of the variables listed. Larger tires change the relationship between RPMS and actual MPH as well as (the truck's) perceived MPH. In addition to that, you have the issue of integrating the vacuum (manifold pressure into the picture, as well as the relationship between throttle position and MPH as seen by your truck.
In summary, it's just a screwed up!

Shoulda bought a 5 speed. ;)

Ha, your telling me..i wish i had. Auto's are such a pain in the neck. Once I get the 35's (next year), i'll get the speedo recalibrated. I have to wait for that though, because depending on the engine performance with the 35's, i may also drop gears to 4.56's. So I need to wait until that time first before I have my chip reprogrammed.

Im confused why you need to wait a year to do that? I could have sworn a reburn was like 25 dollars or something....Am I wrong? It would probably, imho, be easier to just do the reburn twice, rather than sacrificing anything. I dunno, your call though dude :)

90 bucks for the burn + shipping + being without a chip for 2 weeks or more. Besides, it's just a pain in the freegen' neck sending stuff back and forth. I'd prefer to just wait. The problem is not that bad and only happens on occassion. I think the computer gets confused sometimes as to whether it's safe to downshift or not. I don't know, i'm not a computer so I can't tell what it's thinking. And if I were a computer, I still wouldn't be able to tell, unless I had telephathic abilities or could read tarrot cards. Or maybe I could just get it really drunk and take advantage of it at some cheap hotel, yeah that sounds like an idea :)

if you were a computer we could hook up two serial port style patch cords and you could feed off one another...but anyhow...I didnt realize it was so much to get reburns?!?!? I know a company that does it for way less than 90 dollars. Thats ludicris.

Tom, from what I thought, you had already sent your chip in like 2 or 3 times for a re-burn. After 2 or 3 times, it doesn't cost you anymore. I'd just call Ken. ;)
