1978 C7000 brake master cylinder (10.4 liter CAT)

Separated brake master from reservoir and found that i have inside bore of 1.75"....can only find 1.5" bore replacements. Seems like a perfect match otherwise, so maybe this is the right replacement afterall?....anybody have insight on this?

1973/79 C600/900 with hydraulic brakes: There are THREE different master cylinders, one has a bore of 1 1/2" the other two have a bore of 1 3/4."

So, the 1 1/2" bore is not a replacement for the 1 3/4" bore. I need the AXLE code (stamped on the Warranty Plate) to determine what the correct 1 3/4" Ford part number is.

btw: C7000 is a C700 with a diesel. And...the C series is a Tilt Cab.
