37x12.50R20 stock wheel with wheel spacers
 
Trying to plan out my truck before ordering it, would like to run 37s on stock wheels (I plan on running a 2.5 level on the front). I know it will rub with stock wheels with 37x12.50 unless you do aftermarket radius arms. But is anyone running wheel spacers and pushing the wheels out a little to get them to fit, since I have seen people with offset fit a 37x12.50 no problem. If you are could you post pictures and the size spacer.

Hub centric wheels on the SD's... Cant really run spacers as they don't allow you to centralize the rim on the hub.

I have 37'x13.50 km3's and I get rub on the radius arms (around last 5% of directional movement)

Absolutely confidant that if I went to +20 offset rims I would lose this. Current rims are +40 offset.

Agreed, these are hub centric so spacers are a no go

Agreed, no go on the spacers. Just run the tires and try to keep the steering off the locks. If the tires rub, they rub. It’s not going to hurt a thing. Not sure why people get their panties in a bunch about tires rubbing, but if it does no damage, what’s the problem? Turning radius suffers? You’re driving a barge on wheels, it has crap for turning radius to begin with, a quarter wheel turn isn’t going to change anything. Point is, put the tires on and love them already.

Thanks guys, good information. My problem is to get in my driveway it's full lock and up a pretty steep bank right off the road. So either have to modify the radius arms or go smaller tires. Feel like if I go 35s going to regret it down the road.

I am not advocating spacers and I don’t use them on my truck. That said they do exist for hub centric applications. There is post from someone using them here and another post of someone referencing bora hub centric spacers:

Re driving with rub: with 37x12.5 on my truck I can turn the wheels to 37 degrees with no rub. They start to rub at 38 degrees. Full lock is 40 degrees. So, the rub is a hit to turning radius, but a 5% one. You likely will make it into your driveway fine, and get used to the rub avoidance.

I am ultimately modding to eliminate rub, but not because it’s a firm need.

I wouldn’t do it but I know I just saw pitures of 37” and stock wheels with 2” spacers. Was on here or the 17 superduty up Group on Facebook.

BORA hub centric bolt on wheel spacers. aka wheel adaptors. Never ever use those glorified washers that slide between the wheel and the hub. Follow the installation instructions for BORA spacers and you'll be golden. i've ran them on my titan and currently on the 4runner, zero issues.

I haven't decided if i wanna trust them on a 3/4 diesel pulling heavy trailers though.

Good to know about Bora. I'm thinking of using spacers but had concerns when towing.

im running 1" bora spacers and 100% problem free, having put 25-30k miles on them so far. 37s with 2" carli, 37x12.50 on oem 20s and no rub anywhere.

i rotate tires every oil change and ask them to check spacer lugs as well. they havent slipped a bit. i would absolutely use them again.

Well I'm glad I did find someone running spacers, use to run them on my Tacoma back in the day never had a problem in 50k miles. Just wasn't sure how it would do with a heavier truck. After seeing Mikeym1 post on the other thread made me consider it again. I know Bora and Fred Goeske made the best around. Good alternative for a lot less than radius arm upgrade.

you will still run. I havev37x12.5r20 with +12 offset and they still run at full lock. 13.5's at +20 would rub even sooner.
