Electrical issue - turn signal / brake light
Hello! Having an issue with my 2011 F-150 Ecoboost. My drivers side rear brake light / turn signal does not work. The front and mirror signals work fine. Just not the rear, my tail light works though. Fuses are good. Brand new tail light housing with new bulbs. I just installed the new housing yesterday because I thought that was the issue. I even hooked up another brake light with same results. Any ideas? Wanting to get it fixed without spending a lot of money at the shop. Thank you. |
Are you getting 12 volts to the tail light?

If you're not getting power to the bulb then the left rear contact in the turn signal switch could be the cause. The front and rear circuits run through different contacts because of the brake light circuit.
