Dig it ! Congrats :-X06 ( oh and let’s discuss the ceramic brake choice before you pull the trigger ) |

Aaron, Nice. How many miles? |
Very nice - many of us are on the same journey, and thankfully others here will share their experience!
Best of luck in your build-up! |
Hey guys, thanks for the encouraging words. The hardest part I've found so far is spending tons of money on "maintenance" items and not on "fun" items, sigh. Hopefully I'll get a bunch of time this weekend to start the diff service and brake job. Aside from the oil cooler leaking it has one of the turbo cooler lines leaking, does anyone know if that is a hard job to do to replace both turbo oil cooler hoses? Thanks!
Armylifer: It's got 265k on it, a little much but pretty much no visible smoke blowby out of the oil filler cap and it passed with a clean bill of health from a diesel fleet repair place. pirate4x4_camo: tell me more about your idea, I've heard good things about ceramic nakamoto pads....I chose ceramic because I don't tow but once a year or so and only about 4-5k. Mostly its going to be a daily driver and camp rig/long road trip truck. |
