Right fender emblem is 1965, but the painted steel grille is from a 1966.

If this truck has a 240 or 300 I-6, the hood emblem is correct. If it has the 352 2V, it's not.

The stake bed is aftermarket as are the wheels and the radio antenna.

Post a pic of the Warranty Plate, riveted to the left door face below the latch.

Most of this I can read, the 1st digit of the BODY code and the DSO code, I cannot make out. Posting the VIN (F10JE626390) was a big help.

F10 = F100 2WD

J = 240 1V I-6.

E = Mahwah NJ Assembly Plant.

626390 = 1965.

115" Wheelbase.

COLOR: O = Peacock Blue.

MODEL: F100 = F100 2WD, 5,000 lbs. GVWR

BODY: ?81: ? / 81 = 81A Standard Cab.

TRANS: A = Ford type 3.03 3 Speed Manual all Synchromesh Transmission.

AXLE: 08 = Ford 9" Rear Axle / 3.50-1 / 3,300 lbs. Axle Capacity.

MAX GVW LBS: 5,000 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.

CERT NET HP 129 @ 4,000 RPM

DSO: ?

No 1965 came with a 1966 grille from the factory. 1965 production ended the first week of August.

September 1965: Ford obsoleted the 1965 grilles, replaced them with 1966 grilles for use as "service part replacements."

You the man! You’ve helped me before. If I post pics of the engine and transmission can you help me figure out the years/type? They have been swapped

Post them and I'll see, but I kinda doubt I'll be able to ID the size of the engine. The trans may also be a PITA to ID

The valve covers have been painted, not sure what the 73 on inner fender wall is, and added a pic of rear axle to confirm it’s the 9” I’ve read the 9” are a very good axle?

Dizzy cap with male ends introduced in 1977. How many valve cover bolt holes per side? The carb is a Motorcraft 2150 series 2V, introduced in 1975. It's probably original to the engine.

Trans is an A/T .. How many trans pan bolt holes does it have (could be 11 or 17)?

I'm no expert but looking at the pictures it looks to be a 302 and a C4.
