C6 rebuild question

So I got my C6 torn down. The pic is from the forward clutch. I don’t see any material on the frictions. Nothing like what was in the other clutches. They looked pretty good considering their age. Anybody think these frictions could be the cause of my transmission slipping?

Interested in hearing what the experts say. I would have expected to see at least sections/pads of a different friction material, but I have no experience with C6 transmissions anyway, so don't know what I'm talking about.
But happy to learn new stuff!

As a total non-expert though, they look pretty worn to me.
What year is the trans? Was it using Type-F or Dextron fluid?

It’s in a 74 F100. I was just told by an expert that those frictions actually do still have material on them. I was comparing them to frictions in the other clutches which have a waffle pattern on them. I was informed that these frictions in the forward clutch have a smooth pattern. Either way, they’re all being replaced.

Sounds like a plan.
Make sure to find out which fluid type that the clutch manufacturer recommends. Even Ford went to Dextron in later years (my '79 takes Dextron) and many clutch manufacturers prefer the type of material that happens to like the GM-spec stuff.
Maybe you know that already. Thought I'd bring it up just in case.
