1994 F-250 C&C brake controller question
 

Hi everyone. I am not getting power to my brake controller. I bought a new pigtail and controller itself and installed. Still no power. The #21 fuse space is empty but it will not hold a maxi fuse like it calls for. It just flops around in the spot for the fuse. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

It's because you don't have the relay box that would have been installed next to the power distribution box in your picture. You will have to wire power to the brake controller directly.

At the risk of insulting . . . Might want to consider taking the truck to a trusted trailer shop or independent shop that sees a lot of pickups, tell them where you want the controller mounted, and let them do the install.

Reasoning is that unless you are handy with 12v automotive systems, it will prove less frustrating for somebody who does this regularly.

Also it looks like there are NO contacts for the fuse in your picture. If that is the case just wiring 12v. direct to the controller is probably the easiest way to do it.
