2011 F350 XLT volume quit working

I can not hear the radio in my 2011 F350 XLT. I don't know what radio options there were for the XLT but mine has a Sync USB port, Bluetooth, steering wheel controls, CD player but it does not have a big display or touchscreen or anything like that.

When I try to adjust the volume with either the steering wheel or the radio dial, the indicator shows the volume is at half but the volume will not go up or down. I can hear nothing. All other buttons appear to work.

Have Inaccidentally gotten into some more that doesn't allow it to play any sound or adjust volume or is something just flat out wrong?

Thanks

You sure it's set on "radio" and not a different source? Make sure nothing's plugged into the usb port (that it might be trying to read).

A simple reset would be to unplug the battery for a few minutes to see if that does the trick.

Thanks. I have tried AM, FM 1, FM 2 and AUX. Volume controls have no effect in any of those. I do not have the USB plugged in. Same for the audio jack (never used either of them that I remember actually).

I will try unhooking the battery overnight when I get in tonight.

I should also emphasize that I believe the volume controls are working because when I attempt to adjust volume the volume level display pops up on the display, it just doesn't change.

Forgot to unhook battery last night. Will try to do that sometime today.
