One of the crew said it made 603hp on the 3rd pull. 597.3 is the average of 3 pulls

Ted Eaton is one of the TOP Y-Block builders in the entire country!

I just had a look at his page on camshaft/lifter failures. It tells us that Zddp and/or secret sauce oil is NOT necessarily the "end-all---cure-all of camshaft/ flat-tappet life!!
