Ignition lock Actuator blues

Hi there
I know there's an old thread about this issue, but I was watching this tutorial
But mine is different. It doesn't just "flop out". I've gotten to the point where I have unscrewed the turn signal switch and unscrewed the assembly, but I can't get it out so that I can remove the steering column housing and get at the actuator rod.
Plus, I'm in that maddening place where tiny pieces are falling out that I am now having to remember where they will need to go.https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...d5bf25b9aa.jpg

Suggestions?

I put a starter button on my dash. Mine would turn on but wouldn't crank. Just be careful it's in park.

Well if you've removed all the screws holding it in, it's probably just stuck, right?

You need to pull the turn signal cam out. ( the white object). Pull the lock cylinder out, and also the housing with the shift lever. Then it will pull out. Its a tight fit. I did it a couple months ago

The turn signal assembly is most likely hung up on the turn signal switch wiring. The plug/connector is down the column by the ignition switch. Unplug it and then you can pull the switch up and out of the way.

There is a good write up on the procedure on here. Do a search. It's quite a procedure, I could never have done it without a write up.
