Right know as the truck sits you should try some of the rust-oleum rust remover, that thing does miracles with rust:-X22

Well I have a question for u guys the truck is a 96 but the engine is a 96 out of a buss and when who ever did the swap they put the 95 cover on the motor but put the 96 hpop and had to do a lot of cranking to get it started due to what I believe was bleed down so I reinstalled 95 hpop should that fix the problem and do u guys know if a 96 7.3 bus motor has a smaller exhaust housing due to the fact it has a intercooler because the exhaust hosing looks smaller to me than my current dd

Well I plan on getting the old new cab off Thursday morning and in the paint room gonna wire brush and rust primer and paint the bottom of the cab and do the core support I also am going to build a down pipe for it with the first section being 3 in and second being 4 in I got a buddy who gonna get me some 4in exhaust off a school bus for free then I'm gonna do some sound proofing and insolation and switch the interior to gray with a touch of camouflage in it

7.3 forever 11-24-2015 10:54 AM

I have a question for u guys has anyone converted to power windows and locks because the other cab I have is xlt but it's for 460 gonna see if any of u guys had completed the swap without getting a psd interior harness

stainlessstroker95 11-24-2015 08:41 PM

Progress looks good. I think I would have to keep it though after all that work. This should help with converting to xlt.
